How to Measure at Home
Paper to the wall
Place a sheet of paper flat on the floor against a wall, and have your child stand on it with the heel touching the wall.
Trace the foot
Hold a pencil upright and trace around the foot, keeping the line close to the edges.
Measure in cm
Measure from the heel line to the tip of the longest toe in centimetres.
Match the chart
Compare the measurement to the chart above to find the right size.
Do's & Don'ts
✓ Do
- Measure barefoot (or in a thin sock), standing with weight on the foot.
- Measure both feet and use the larger measurement.
- Measure in the evening, when feet are at their largest.
- Leave roughly 0.5–1 cm of growing room at the toe.
✕ Don't
- Don't measure over thick socks.
- Don't assume the big toe is the longest — it isn't always.
- Don't size down to make a pair last; tight shoes can hurt growing feet.
- Don't rely on a size bought months ago — re-measure.
Why the Right Size Matters

Frequently Asked Questions
My child is between two sizes — which should I pick?
Go with the larger size. A little growing room is better than a shoe that's too tight.
How often should I re-measure?
Children's feet grow quickly, so we recommend re-measuring every 2–3 months.
Are G&D sizes unisex?
Yes — our kids' footwear is unisex and follows the same chart for boys and girls.
